On February 5th, 2024 Thong Nhat Hospital organized a “Warm Spring – Loving Tet” program to give gifts to patients on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024 through a the “Zero VND booth”.
There are 11 0 VND stalls including candy, milk, household items… given to patients in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 108 million VND. Donors also donated 20 red envelopes to patients with special circumstances.
On this occasion, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Dinh Thanh, Director of Thong Nhat Hospital, also presented 20 gifts to 20 patients with special circumstances, total value of 20 million VND.
According to Dr. Thanh, these gifts are to encourage patients to overcome their illness, and also replace the New Year wishes that the hospital sends to patients being treated here on the occasion of the the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024..
“When Tet comes, everyone wants to spend time with family and relatives. Patients who have to stay for Tet at the hospital are truly at a disadvantage. The hospital organized “Zero VND booth” with the hope of sharing some of the difficulties with patients, hoping that everyone will always be happy and cheerful” – Mr. Thanh expressed.
At the event, Hoang Yen Meditech Vietnam Co., Ltd. had a booth with necessary necessities to serve patients, helping them feel secure in treatment during the spring days.
